As a women’s and men’s health physical therapist, I am passionate about pelvic and abdominal health, treating all patients with dignity and compassion. Outside of the clinic, I am a wife to my husband of over 10 years, a mother of two beautiful children, and I enjoy yoga, hiking, travel, and going to Disneyland.
When I first started my journey into physical therapy, I was only vaguely aware of this specialty area of practice. As I learned more about physical therapy focused on pelvic health, I was drawn in not only by the need for more professionals in this area, but by the effectiveness of the therapy. I gained further passion through my own experiences with interstitial cystitis and postpartum pelvic pain, giving me compassion for my patients from my own personal experiences. I treat all patients with respect and care, as I would want to be treated myself. I am a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy and am also a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Herman & Wallace Institute. I use the knowledge gained from these certifications to apply reliable and scientifically-based physical therapy concepts to the area of the pelvis.
Everyday, I have patients tell me how grateful they are to find that physical therapy finally helps them feel better, often after years of living in pain and after countless other unsuccessful treatments. It’s a blessing to be able to make such a difference in my patients’ lives, healing not only their bodies, but also their spirits as they discover new hope for a pain-free and incontinence-free future.
