Eltheia Shigeko Shiozaki, PT, CSCS "In the twenty-three years that I have been practicing Physical Therapy, I have had the privilege and opportunity to work in almost all areas of Physical Therapy. This has helped me to realize the importance of constantly striving to increase my knowledge with any specific problem so that I may better serve my patients. To now focus on the area of Women's Health has allowed me to serve a population of people with very special needs and concerns. For every person who comes to our clinic, my hope is that they feel that they are treated with respect, privacy and the utmost care possible. I've learned so much about how amazing the human body is and its potential for healing and recovery. Seeing our patients reach their goals, even in difficult situations, has inspired me to continue in my quest to learn even more about how I can help them. More recently, I have found further inspiration from Joseph Pilates teachings and exercises and became certified through the Stott Pilates program. Incorporating Pilates into our exercise repertoire has allowed our patients to achieve their functional goals, helped to benefit every patient no matter what their diagnosis and has allowed them to 'develop the body uniformly, correct posture, restore vitality, invigorate the mind and elevate the spirit' ( Joseph Pilates)."
